What exactly is VerbaNexa?
VerbaNexa is a platform for parents and carers who are waiting for their child to receive speech therapy, occupational therapy, or a developmental assessment. We also support children with emotional and sensory regulation and sleep. We take the knowledge that therapists and specialists use every day and turn it into simple, personalised activities you can do with your child at home. You do not need a diagnosis to get started.
Who is VerbaNexa for?
VerbaNexa is for parents and carers of children aged 2 to 10 who are waiting for a therapy appointment or a developmental diagnosis. Whether your child is on a speech therapy waiting list, an occupational therapy waiting list, or waiting for an autism or developmental assessment, VerbaNexa is built for your family.
Is VerbaNexa available in my country?
VerbaNexa is launching in Ireland and the United Kingdom. If you are based outside these countries, you are still welcome to join the waitlist and we will let you know when we expand.
Is VerbaNexa a replacement for therapy?
No. VerbaNexa is a support tool, not a therapy service. It is designed to sit alongside professional therapy, not replace it. Everything in VerbaNexa is grounded in specialist knowledge, but it does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We always recommend continuing to work with qualified healthcare professionals for your child.
What age range is VerbaNexa designed for?
VerbaNexa is designed for children aged 2 to 10 years old. The activities and support plans are tailored to your child's specific age and stage, so what you receive will always be appropriate for where your child is right now.

How does VerbaNexa work?
When you join VerbaNexa, you answer a few simple questions about your child. Things like their age, the areas where they need support, their interests, and what your daily life looks like. VerbaNexa uses that information to build a personalised support plan filled with activities grounded in established therapeutic approaches. You can access everything through the VerbaNexa app or through your browser on any device.
How personalised is my child's plan?
Very. The plan is built specifically around your child's needs, age, strengths, and the kind of support they are waiting for. It is not a one-size-fits-all list of exercises. As you use VerbaNexa, the plan can adapt as your child grows and develops.
How often do I need to use VerbaNexa?
VerbaNexa is designed to fit into real family life, so you work through it completely at your own pace. There are no deadlines, no pressure, and no reminders telling you that you have fallen behind. Some families do a short activity every day. Others dip in a few times a week. Whatever works for your family works for VerbaNexa.
What kinds of activities will my child do?
The activities are simple, play-based, and designed to feel natural rather than clinical. Depending on your child's needs, they might include things like communication games, sensory play, movement activities, or everyday routines structured in a way that supports development. Everything is explained clearly so you know exactly what to do and why it helps.
Do I need any special equipment or materials?
No. The activities are designed around things you already have at home. There is nothing to buy and nothing to prepare in advance.
Does my child need a diagnosis before I can use VerbaNexa?
No. You do not need a diagnosis to get started. Many families using VerbaNexa are still waiting for an assessment. If you are noticing challenges with your child's speech, movement, behaviour, or development and want to do something helpful while you wait, VerbaNexa is for you.
Can I use VerbaNexa once my child starts therapy?
Absolutely. VerbaNexa is designed to complement professional therapy, not just fill the gap before it starts. Many families continue using VerbaNexa alongside their child's sessions because the home activities support and reinforce the work being done with their therapist.

How do I join VerbaNexa?
Right now VerbaNexa is in its early access phase. You can join the waitlist on this page and we will contact you as soon as we are ready to invite your family in. Early access spots are limited, so joining the list gives you the best chance of being among the first families to use VerbaNexa.
How will I know when VerbaNexa is ready?
We will email you as soon as early access opens. We will not spam you and we will not leave you wondering. We will only send occasional updates as VerbaNexa gets closer to launch.
Can I use VerbaNexa on my phone?
Yes. VerbaNexa works on both the app and in your browser, so you can use it on your phone, tablet, or computer. Whichever works best for your family.
What if I am already overwhelmed and cannot commit to anything right now?
That is completely understandable and VerbaNexa was built with exactly that in mind. There is no commitment, no schedule, and no pressure. You can start when you are ready, do as little or as much as feels right, and come back whenever suits you. Even one small activity a day can make a difference and VerbaNexa will always be there when you need it.
